Double wide view mirrors invented to provide broader view

PITTSBURGH, Penn. — An external truck mirror with an expanded field of vision is a new invention designed by an inventor from Orlando, Fla.

Double wide view mirrors would provide a tractor trailer driver with an extended view to the rear side of a truck. Since the invention would enable the driver to check more accurately for proper wheel clearance and possible obstructions, it would be ideal when making a sharp turn or when reversing. The easy-to-install accessory would also be suitable for use with recreational vehicles.

Work experience inspired the inventor to design this product.

“I used to drive a truck and found it difficult to get a good view to the rear side of it,” he stated.

The original design was submitted to the Orlando office of the Invention Submission Corporation. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
