E-Z CLEAR big-rig safety accessory invented for cold weather driving

PITTSBURGH, Penn. — Invention Submission Corporation announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Vancouver, Wash., has designed an automotive accessory that would prevent snow and ice accumulation on tractor-trailer windshield wipers.

The E-Z CLEAR would enhance road safety by ensuring that the windshield and wiper blades are free of snow and ice, increasing a driver’s visibility. As it would eliminate the need for a driver to stop and clear the windshield of snow and ice, the E-Z CLEAR could save time while driving. Also, it would ensure that a windshield would not be damaged by ice on the wiper blades.

The inventor designed the E-Z CLEAR after realizing the need for such a device.

“I developed this based on my experiences driving an 18-wheeler through bad weather. The snow and ice would build up fast, which made me have to stop often and clear it," he said.

The original design was submitted to the Portland office of the Invention Submission Corporation. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
