Goodyear selected for 2005 Ford Harley-Davidson truck

AKRON, Ohio, — The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company announced recently that it has been chosen as the exclusive tire supplier for the 2005 Ford Harley-Davidson F-Series Super Duty, a truck that becomes available in November.

The four-wheel drive truck features 20-inch Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires, along with an optional 6.8-liter V-10 or 6-liter diesel V-8 engine, optional wet-on-wet painted factory flames and the Harley-Davidson shield logo.

“Supplying the tires for one of the toughest, most popular trucks on the road is a job Goodyear is proud to claim,” said Mike Parnell, Goodyear’s vice president, original equipment. “This truck is an eye-catcher, and we want the tires to play an important role in that appeal.”

The Wrangler AT/S tires on the special-edition truck are an LT275/65R20 size.The Wrangler AT/S radial combines aggressive off-road traction with quiet, stable on-road driveability in a rugged, dependable tire for all the driving conditions pick-up and sport utility drivers face.
