GRANDE PRAIRIE, Alta. — Greatwest Kenworth has opened a new store in Grande Prairie at the rapidly-expanding “four mile corner” just north of the city.
The new location is at 7202 98th St. in Clairmont, Alta. It’s a 33,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art dealership featuring an indoor showroom for Class 7 and 8 trucks. There’s also a spacious and bright parts area the features an attractive parts display as well as plenty of stock.
The new dealership also features a comfortable customer lounge with plenty of reading material, a television set and complimentary coffee.
The service shop is 18,000 sq. ft. and is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment including a Vehicle Inspection Station. This machine is able to diagnose the front-end, suspension and braking capabilities of a truck in less than half the time it would take to do so manually.
There are 12 spacious service bays in the shop including a wash bay and a drive-through bay. The new dealership also has two new five-tonne Kenworth T300 parts trucks that are available to service the area’s customers.

The company has been in business for 30 years and employs 200 people in Alberta. About 30 of them work at the Grande Prairie facility.
