Mack offers unlimited over-the-air updates

Mack is now offering unlimited parameter updates through its Over the Air remote programming.

Available parameter updates include maximum road speed, multiple idle shutdown parameter and kits, and controls for the Mack mDrive automated manual transmission.

Mack OTA is a free offering for the first two years a truck is owned, and can be extended through a subscription service after that.

Owners change parameter settings and update software through the Mack GuardDog Connect telematics platform. Most of the driver-activated software updates are completed in less than 13 minutes, while driver activated parameter updates are done in less than a minute. Multiple trucks can also be updated at the same time.
