WINNIPEG, Man. — Volvo Manitoba Truck Centre will unveil its new name at an open house event held Sept. 25 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 33 Oak Point Highway.

"We no longer sell and service just one line of trucks," said owner Barry Searcy. "As a result we wanted a name that would relay that message while at the same time reflect a truly Manitoba and Canadian identity. All the high standards of sales and service we have worked hard to establish will remain the same. Only the name is changing."

The dealership opened its doors in April, 1997, and currently it is maintaining a 28 per cent market share in Manitoba Class 8 truck sales.

Special guests and the public have been invited to the open house event. Refreshments and a BBQ and prize giveaways will be available.
