LAVAL, Que. — Michelin Retread Technologies has added Canadian Treads as its fifth MRT franchise in Canada. Through its Edmonton facility, Canadian Treads will begin operations of a Michelin Pre-MoldTM retread plant before the end of 2004.
2004 has been a year of growth for MRT. Most recently, Michelin expanded its Covington, Georgia manufacturing facility. MRT also added Evansville, Indiana-based Raben Tire and Hungerford, Texas-based Strouhal Tire, Inc. to the company’s growing list of retread franchises.
There are now more than 230 points of sale in North America for Michelin retreads.
