New braking technology saves more than time

by Truck News

CULLMAN, Ala. – TSE Brakes Inc. has introduced new technology that it says brings easier installation, fewer necessary model numbers and better chamber sealing to braking systems.

Benefits of variable clocking technology (VCT), according to TSE Brakes, is up to 75% less installation time, less inventory, less shared leak responsibility and a smaller chance for improper installation.

“Now you can freely spin the ports during installation and then secure with one bolt,” said Jean Gregoire, director of TSE Brakes’ North American aftermarket sales and marketing. “Not only does the feature save time with installation, but it also allows our customers to stock fewer models because the port locations are now variable instead of left hand or right hand. Also, our customers told us that at times air brake actuators are less efficient because they are not always properly sealed by the installer. The beauty of the innovative VCT design is that we factory seal the diaphragm, so the installer is no longer required to get the best possible seal.”

VCT can be purchased as either a complete unit or a piggyback repair kit for easy fixes. Visit tsebrakes.com for ordering information.
