Haldex has launched the Consep, a low-maintenance air pre-treatment condenser or separator designed for extreme service applications. It condenses, separates and removes 90 per cent of the oils, liquids and other contaminants from the vehicles air brake system before the air reaches the air dryer. An automatic drain valve purges the contaminants periodically while the built-in heater prevents freezing. Because it is mounted between the air compressor and the air dryer, the Consep requires no scheduled maintenance during its service life.
