SEATTLE, Wash. — Red Dot Corp. has published its 2005 catalog, the primary resource for independent distributors of heavy-duty heating and air-conditioning aftermarket units and all-makes parts.

Updated annually, the catalog contains comprehensive, easy-to-find information about more than 3,000 Red Dot heating and air conditioning units and components. It is provided to 175 independent parts distributors in North America and South America.

“This illustrated reference guide gives counterpeople the full spectrum of HVAC units and OEM-quality parts available to them,” said Robert Gardiner, marketing manager for Red Dot Corp. “It’s intended for everyday use, so it’s organized to make finding the right part quick and easy.”

The 528-page catalog lists the model, part, and factory numbers for each HVAC unit or component, as well as a photograph and critical dimensions. Items are also listed by specific OEM application and are cross-referenced to convert other part numbers to Red Dot aftermarket numbers.

A special section contains extra reference material, including Red Dot’s recommended preventive maintenance schedules and an illustrated guide to how air conditioning works.

Red Dot ships the printed catalog directly to its independent distributors. The catalog is also available in PDF format on CD-ROM.
