by Truck News

LONGVIEW, Texas — Stemco revealed todat that its adding ZeroTouch technology for its TrailerTail product line.

ZeroTouch technology connects to the trailer’s built-in ABS ECU  to automatically deploy the TrailerTail rear fairing when the vehicle reaches 35 mph.

An early adopter of TrailerTail ZeroTouch technology, Georgia-based Boaty’s Transport, reported positive results after implementing the system into its fleet in January 2016.

“We remotely monitored several units with telematics,” explained Boaty’s owner Mike Boatwright. “ZeroTouch performed very reliably in opening our TrailerTail units without driver involvement. I now see ZeroTouch as the next step for our fleet – we’ll increase our fuel savings and our maintenance team is already very familiar with the service and reliability of these ABS systems.”
