U.S. load securement seminar hosted by WTA

LANGLEY, B.C. — B.C. Trucking Association (BCTA) members are being invited to a U.S. load securement seminar, hosted by a Washington State Patrol representative.

The half-day seminar is being put on by the Washington Trucking Association (WTA), however, the association is extending WTA rates of $59 to BCTA members as well.

The seminar is being held Mar. 16 at the Pacific Highway border crossing. Mike Williams of the Washington State Patrol will be discussing new U.S. load securement regulations and what U.S. enforcement officers will be looking for during inspections. He will also discuss how the new regulations will be enforced.
