Volvo introduces unlimited parameter updates
Volvo is now offering unlimited parameter updates through Volvo Trucks’ remote programming services.
Such updates can help boost uptime, efficiency, and productivity, the company says.
Individual and bundled parameter kits can adjust things like maximum road speed, cruise speed, idle shutdown times, and the shift logic for Volvo I-Shift transmissions. Each can be activated through the truck’s instrument cluster.
Vehicle speeds might be set to accommodate variances based on states or countries, or changes in application and terrain.
The Driver Display Activation feature is now standard on all Volvo Trucks.
