WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — Western Star Trucks has expanded its dealer network by adding 11 new dealerships – one of which is located in Canada.

“In welcoming these new dealers to Western Star Trucks, we are further supporting our commitment to customers,” said John Merrifield, senior vice-president, sales and marketing for Western Star Trucks. “We want to ensure that when an operator needs assistance, it’s never far away.”

The company says the additional dealerships give the truck maker a broader reach in offering and supporting its custom-built trucks.

The lone Canadian addition is Centre du Camion Mont-Laurier in Des Ruisseaux, Quebec. Other new additions to the family include: Transwest Trucks, in Commerce City, Colo.; Delta Truck Center, in French Camp, Calif.; Bakersfield Truck Center, in Bakersfield, Calif.; Western Star and Freightliner of Laredo, Ltd., in Laredo, Texas; Stoops Western Star and Freightliner – Quality Trailer, Inc., in Fremont, Ind.; Pacific Detroit Diesel-Allison, Co., in Kapolei, Hawaii; Farmington Freightliner, Sterling, and Western Star, in Farmington, N.M.; Peach State Truck Centers, in Byron, Ga.; Kansas Truck Center, in Wichita, Kan.; and Pap Machinery, Inc., in Tangent, Ore.
