TORONTO, Ont. — Fleet Challenge Ontario is hosting a four-part breakfast series to address issues relating to operating a green fleet.

The first of the events kicks off Oct. 6 in Toronto. Subsequent events will be held Dec. 1, Feb. 23 2010 and June 10 2010.

Details are available online at www.fleetchallenge.ca. The seminars are being hosted by Fleet Challenge Ontario, which is a not-for-profit program of the Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance, which aims to help fleet operators reduce their fuel consumption and operating costs.

The first three breakfast seminars will be held at the Estates of Sunnybrook at 2075 Bayview Ave. in Toronto. The fourth will be held in conjunction with Green Fleet Expo 2010 at Centennial College in Toronto. Each will run from 7:30 a.m. til noon and costs $75 to attend. A hot breakfast is included. Organizers are encouraging anyone who has some level of public or private fleet management responsibilities to attend.

Registration for the first seminar ‘Green Fleet 101: A Green Fleet Primer’ is being accepted up until Oct. 1 or when sold out, organizers say. For more information, visit www.fleetchallenge.ca or call 416-207-9774, ext. 123.
