WATERLOO, Ont. — CMV Safety Consulting has teamed with Cadec Global to provide its customers with up-to-date regulatory information, which can then be integrated into Cadec’s fleet management software.

CMV Safety provides safety and compliance resources as well as skills training to North American carriers. Cadec provides fleet management software, allowing customers to automate enforcement and compliance. As part of the new partnership, CMV will also provide consulting services to Cadec customers.

“Carriers are actively seeking better ways to both improve fleet efficiency and ensure that they are in compliance with a myriad of complex regulations,” said CMV president, Brian Botham. “Cadec has done a terrific job helping its customers achieve both goals simultaneously. We’re very pleased to be working with such a forward-looking partner.”

“When it came to regulatory compliance, we decided to turn to an expert in that field CMV Safety,” added Frank Moreno, vice-president of marketing with Cadec. “We feel confident that by incorporating CMV’s expertise into our software platform, we are providing our customers with the very best information available to help protect the health and safety of their employees and the travelers with whom they share the roads.”

Cadec’s software will first incorporate CMV’s regulatory data in the second quarter of 2008.
