CALGARY, Alta. — Calgary-area enforcement agencies conducted a three-day truck inspection blitz last week which saw more than 60 per cent of trucks inspected deemed “less than roadworthy.”
About 475 trucks were pulled over during the inspection blitz which took place Sept. 20-22. The inspections were carried out in various parts of the city, according to local media reports.
Inspection officers from the Calgary Police Truck Unit and other enforcement organizations from across Southern Alberta participated.
