Carriers encouraged to attend OTA outreach meeting in Kemptville

TORONTO, Ont. — Carriers are invited to attend a special meeting with OTA’s Chairman, president and management staff Oct. 28 in Kemptville, Ont.

Participants will discuss current issues facing the industry, including U.S. and Canadian hours of service, insurance, Customs prenotification rules, border infrastructure issues, Carrier IRP Licensing, overweight/over dimensional permits; CVOR, workers’ compensation, and other areas of interest carriers in attendance may have.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, October 28, at the Howard Johnson Hotel, 4022 43 County Road East, Kemptville, Ont. A reception will be held at 6 p.m., followed by the meeting and dinner at 7 p.m.
