Coastal Pacific Xpress becomes FAST carrier

CLOVERDALE, B.C. — Coastal Pacific Xpress Inc. has been approved as a FAST carrier under the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and the Partners in Protection programs.

"Our customers will have confidence in us as a FAST carrier using lease operators who are FAST certified," the company announced in a press release. "It will show a commitment by Coastal Pacific Xpress Inc. a high level of compliance with security and safety requirements, through self-assessment that will meet the needs of our two countries and our mutual customers."

Coastal Pacific Xpress is B.C.’s largest perishable goods carrier. The fleet has a head office in Cloverdale, B.C., a cross-dock facility in Delta, B.C. a cold storage and cross-dock location in Calgary, Alta. and a terminal in Edmonton, Alta.
