Customs offering workshops on exporting regs

OTTAWA, Ont. — Carriers, exporters, brokers, and freight forwarders are invited to learn more about exporting at two upcoming workshops organized by CCRA.

Participants will learn about the new regulations, including: Who reports, when and where? and How to report?
They can also learn more about the Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) for Exports, the Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED), and the Memorandum of Understanding with Freight Forwarders.

Workshops will be held at the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency offices in the LINMOR Building, 2270 St. Laurent Blvd., 1st Floor, Ottawa, Ont., Oct. 14, 2003 – 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or Nov. 20, 2003 – 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
