COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — LINCedge and U.S. Insurance Group have jointly announced they will partner to offer a full line of transportation insurance and savings programs to small and mid-sized fleets.

Based on volume buying power, LINCedge and USIG provide excellent rates on a variety of services ranging from fuel purchases to comprehensive transportation coverage.

LINCedge will offer USIG insurance programs as a part of their current value package which is available to card holders of their $1 flat transaction fee fuel card currently accepted at over 3,200 fueling locations.

To oversee this portion of LINC’s business, they have appointed Bill Long-Innes as Director of Insurance Sales and Service. Long-Innes, formerly with NASTC, is a licensed insurance agent and has over 20 years transportation insurance experience.

"This new partnership will further strengthen LINC’s position as an advocate for the smaller sized fleet by bringing to them affordable and very necessary insurance options," said LINCedge CEO, James Morton.

Huston said that in the insurance business, high standards and personal attention make the difference. For the insurance customer, service is most often defined at the time of a claim. That’s why USIG’s service standards include 24-hour turnaround after a claim is submitted.

Fleets may request free, no-obligation quotes on a variety of insurance programs such as liability, cargo and worker’s compensation online at www.lincedge.com or by contacting Bill Long-Innes directly at 1-800-204-7345, ext 297. Features of the program include affordable rates, quick follow up, and flexible budget-friendly payment options and financing.
