Marsh to host Western Canadian trucking seminars

CALGARY, Alta. — Marsh Canada is presenting an information session in Calgary, focusing on key transportation issues such as insurance, safety and compliance.

The seminar is being held Jan. 26 at the Glenmore Inn and Convention Centre. It kicks off with a hot breakfast at 7:30 a.m. with presentations beginning at 8 a.m.

Identical sessions are also being held in: Saskatoon, Jan 20; Edmonton, Jan. 25; and Vancouver, Jan. 27. For information on those events, contact Greg St. Croix at Greg.E.StCroix@marsh.com.

Speakers at each event will include Lindsey Ng, integrated absence management with Marsh Canada, who will be giving a presentation entitled Finding Your Way.

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) investigator Kris Phillips will be on-hand to discuss issues affecting commercial traffic entering the U.S., including LCVs, hiring standards and audit processes.

And John Slade, a senior vice-president with Marsh Canada, will make a presentation entitled Is the Market Changing?
