TORONTO, Ont. — The OPP and MTO are out in full force today conducting a traffic enforcement blitz dubbed Operation Corridor.

The blitz will focus on Hwy. 401 from Windsor to Quebec. The blitz kicked off at 6 a.m. this morning and will continue until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. Police say they will be targeting aggressive driving, speeding, tailgating, the prohibited use of the left lane, unsafe lane changes, pre-trip inspections, overloaded trucks and load security as well as hour-of-service compliance.

Enforcement officers say theyll also be educating four-wheelers on how to share the road with big trucks.
