Public hearings on speed limiters to be held Thursday

TORONTO, Ont. — Public hearings into Ontario’s controversial speed limiter legislation, Bill 41, will be held this Thursday, June 5.

The Standing Committee on Justice Policy will host the hearings at Queen’s Park. Those wishing to make an oral presentation have only until noon today, June 3, to file a request. They must contact the committee clerk, Susan Sourial at 416-325-7352. Collect calls will be accepted.

Those wishing to present their view in writing have until 5 p.m. June 5 to do so. They should be mailed to: Susan Sourial; Room 1405; Whitney Block/Bureau 1405; difice Whitney; Queen’s Park; Toronto, Ont.; M7A 1A2.
