TTA to hold seminar next month

TORONTO, ONT — The Toronto Trucking Association (TTA) will host a breakfast seminar about Succession Planning for your Business on May 28, at 8 a.m., at the Airport Board of Trade.

The seminar will touch on how to effect a smooth transition of your business to heirs, family members or existing management, how to find third party purchasers for your business and exact the best price and terms, how to avoid taxes and how to secure your future financial security.

Speakers will include: Peter Clark, a senior tax lawyer specializing in corporate transactions and estate planning; Sean Foran, vice-president, Succession Planning Solutions, BMO Harris Private Banking, and Michael Ledgett, a senior corporate lawyer specializing in corporate transactions, particularly in the transportation industry.

Tickets for the seminar are being sold in advance for $80.25 for members or $101.65 for non-members.
