ACE E-MANIFEST SOLUTION
Trans+Plus Systems of Guelph, Ont. has enhanced its Fleet Manager Professional software to provide an automatically generated e-manifest solution
to help manage ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) requirements and comply with new U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) regulations.
The company is partnering with CrimsonLogic to achieve this. Use of ACE, which was first launched in 2001, will become mandatory this spring as the transition from old U.S. Customs systems is completed. The busiest Canada/U.S. border crossings already use it. It requires carriers crossing into the U.S. to submit pre-notification of shipment details to CBP. Customers using Fleet Manager
Professional with CrimsonLogic will be able to send an e-manifest to CBP without leaving the program.
