PORTLAND, Ore. — Think you know truck bumpers? Alliance Truck Parts has announced a social media contest, starting today, that’ll reward those who can identify trucks based on photos of only the bumper.

The #BumperStumper game will be played out on Facebook and Twitter. It will also raise awareness of Alliance’s range of customizable truck bumpers, available for more than 130 models.

Users who correctly identify a truck based on a photo of its bumper will have their names entered into a draw to win Alliance merchandise, the company announced.

“Since its launch, the Alliance Truck Parts online bumper configuration tool has been extremely successful, allowing our customers to create custom bumpers for a wide range of truck makes and models,” said Todd Biggs, director of parts and service marketing for Daimler Trucks North America. “Through this contest, we’re giving truckers a chance to test their knowledge of bumpers, win some really cool prizes along the way and of course, brag to their friends. We are encouraging all truckers to try their hand at the #BumperStumper contest and also upload photos of their own customized bumpers for others to see and appreciate.”

To join in, look for the #BumperStumper hashtag on Facebook and Twitter. You can follow Alliance Truck Parts on Twitter at @AllianceParts. The contest will feature two bumpers per week and run through Sept. 13.
