MINNEAPOLIS — PeopleNet, a technology company specializing in the trucking industry, has announced a new partnership with Easy Manifest that provides truckers with an easier way to prepare eManifests for a border crossing.

PeopleNet has been a provider of open technology for the trucking industry for over 15 years and says that the partnership with Easy Manifest will streamline the process of an eManifest.

An hour or more before reaching the border, the driver or dispatch will submit an eManifest, which is then reviewed by the appropriate border agency. Easy Manifest helps streamline this process so that all information listed is valid, says PeopleNet.

“Easy Manifest helps take the guesswork out of eManifests and crossing the border,” says Nathan Davie, Easy Manifest President and CEO. “This saves [drivers] from having to wait at truck stops for faxes from brokers and other unnecessary but common delays, such as arriving at the border without proper paperwork.”
