CALGARY, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association’s (AMTA) Bulk Carrier Committee is hosting a half-day workshop to go over safety and compliance audits.

The committee hopes to bring together bulk haulers operating in Western Canada, to help carriers improve in prosperity, safety and regulatory compliance.

The workshop is being held at the AMTA office on June 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lunch will be provided.

Currently, bulk haulers are faced with up to 12 different safety and compliance audits, many of which measure the same details. The Bulk Carrier Committee is seeking to combine a number of safety and compliance audits into a single audit document.

To enroll in the program, call Mayne Root at the AMTA at 403-243-4161.
