Canvec goes shopping

MONTREAL – Semi trailer rental company Canvec Leasing has announced its first-ever acquisition.

It announced the purchase of VanEntrepôt, a private, family-run held company in Montreal that operates in the storage trailer market.

The acquisition further strengthens Canvec Leasing’s position in the market and expands the company’s rental fleet by 25 percent.

VanEntrepôt has been renting trailers for storage purposes for nearly 30 years. In 2003, Nathalie and Julie, daughters of founder Mrs. Odette Kavanagh, took over and guided the company to new levels of success.

"VanEntrepôt is a well-established company with an excellent reputation. This acquisition will reinforce our semi trailer rental activities." confirmed Danny Lefebvre, president and CEO.
