Carlisle names GM for brake systems biz
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Carlisle Motion Control Industries named John Younger general manager of Carlisle Altec Brake Systems, a division of the company that operates three brake shoe remanufacturing facilities and a distribution warehouse.
Younger spent the past 22 years in a variety of positions with $8 billion global systems and components supplier ArvinMeritor, Inc. Prior to joining ArvinMeritor, Younger held management positions at Euclid and Transit Parts Co.
Younger offers an extensive knowledge of undercarriage products, brakes, friction material, wheel end components, and suspension systems. An experienced sales executive, Younger has successfully marketed heavy-duty truck parts to U.S. and Canadian OEM and independent channel aftermarket customers.
