Christman named president of Nav-Cat venture
CHICAGO — The board of directors of NC2 Global, the 50-50 commercial truck joint venture between Caterpillar and Navistar, named Phil Christman president, effective immediately.
Al Saltiel, who served as president of NC2 since July 2009, will be returning to Navistar as chief marketing officer.
Christman began his career with Navistar in 1986 and grew through a series of leadership roles, including vice president of engineering.
He most recently served as Navistar’s president, Global Truck Operations and a key member of the NC2 board of directors.
