CAMBRIDGE, Ont. — Segway Truck Lines has acquired Advantage Logistics of Cambridge, Ont.

Industry veterans Vince Buckley and John Mann have joined forces to form Segway Truck Lines a new company specializing in LTL, TL and Logistics.

Segway will continue to offer Advantage customers expedited LTL and TL service between Ontario, Quebec and California. In addition, Segway Logistics will complement the trucking business with freight management expertise for cross border shipments to and from all points between Canada and the USA.

“There will always be room in this industry for carriers that perform a high level of customer service. Our intention is to expand on the great reputation that Advantage has built” said Buckley. “Segway will continue to feature 3 day ‘team’ service from the GTA to and from California. Our growth will come from strategically planning additional markets for our fleet with an integrated effort of our logistics business allowing us to manage our assets while providing a full menu of logistics services to our customers.”
