COLUMBUS, IN — Cummins launched its 2015 ‘Redefining Tour’ here on Saturday June 13th. It’s a coast-to-coast travelling exhibition showcasing both current and future technologies, visiting 34 cities across the U.S. and Canada between now and Oct. 6.

Cummins tour hits Toronto on June 24Canadian dates start with Toronto on June 24. It’s one of four ‘Power Stops’ planned for the summer at which additional Cummins-powered diesel and natural gas equipment will be featured. It’s the only such affair planned for Canada.

The three other Canadian dates are all in July: the 21st in  Winnipeg; 24th in Edmonton; and 27th in Vancouver. For the full schedule go here.

The tour features five tractor-trailer combinations representing major class-8 brands that will travel cross-country to each stop. They’re powered by a combination of the current ISX15 engine, the Cummins Eaton SmartAdvantage powertrain, and the 2017 ISX15 engine with the Single Module aftertreatment system. As well, the trucks will feature specs catering to customers seeking both fuel efficiency and high performance.

One of the caravan’s key highlights, the company says, is the interactive show trailer for customers to walk though and explore. It will feature three additional engines including the ISB6.7, the Cummins Westport ISX12 G natural gas engine, and the 2017 ISX15. Digital and interactive displays highlight other products such as ADEPT and Connected Diagnostics.
