Dana, Eaton expand RoadRanger product line

NEW ORLEANS, La. — Eaton Corp. and Dana Corp. will add medium-duty products to their RoadRanger System line of drivetrain components and services, as well as heavy-duty products not covered under the original marketing agreement between the two companies.

Eaton and Dana made the announcement at the American Trucking Associations annual convention here earlier this week.

The RoadRanger System consists of Eaton Fuller clutches and transmissions, Dana Spicer driveshafts, axles, brakes, and wheel ends, and Eaton anti-lock braking systems. The products are available separately or as a complete drivetrain system and are marketed by Eaton at the OEM and fleet-user levels.

The expansion of the RoadRanger line and product development partnership, created earlier this year, answers customer demands to simplify the specÕing process, said Ken Davis, North American marketing manager for Eaton Truck Components.
