TORONTO, Ont. — Expocam producers, dmg world media, has inked a partnership with the Packaging Association of Canada (PAC) regarding its Toronto logistics show.

The two organizations say they have come together to offer two major exhibitions at one location to both logistics and packaging industry visitors.

The newly renamed Canadian Materials Handling & Logistics Show (CMHL — formerly Logitech/Logistics 2000) and PacEx International will be co-located at the International Centre in Mississauga, from May 6-8, 2003.

“The powerful combination of having these two shows located together is a logical step, which show visitors are sure to appreciate,” says CMHL show manager Glen Chiasson.

“Canadian Materials Handling & Logistics demonstrates the next phase after packaging in supply chain management. Manufacturing plants, warehouses and distribution centers from across the country will send management, engineering and operational staff to learn about the latest product information and compare competing products and source new suppliers,” he adds.

CMHL is promising to deliver a stronger audience with a number of improvements put in place for the show. These include more equipment demonstrations, facility tours, association breakfast meetings, new seminars and educational workshops, exhibitor product presentations and an expanded lift-truck competition.

“And visitors to one show will be able to visit the other show free of charge, ” adds Chiasson.
