Donaldson Co.’s new Stepped SealClamp is a 360-degree, pre-formed stainless steel clamp designed for overlapping tube connections, including muffler inlets, outlets, slotted joints, and flex tubing. The clamp has an inside sealing surface that matches the stepped shape of an overlapped joint, providing a critical seal for minimizing exhaust leaks. The grooved stepped reaction block also acts as an installation aide as the groove closes during bolt tightening ensuring proper torque. No disconnecting or welding and no extra sealing pads, seals, or gaskets are required for installation. In addition, all hardware and fasteners have been treated with a corrosion resistant coating. An aluminized option is available.
