Eaton Fuller 18-speed AutoShift available on key KW models
KIRKLAND, Wash. — Kenworth Truck Co. will make the Eaton Fuller 18-speed AutoShift available for its T2000, W900, T800, T600, and C500 models starting Jan. 4.
The AutoShift 18 can be ordered with Caterpillar 3406, C-10, and C-12; Cummins ISM and N-14; and Detroit Diesel Series 60 electronic engines. It is available with 1450, 1650, 1850, and 2050 pound feet torque capacities.
AutoShift 18 features include a “shift-by-wire” system that works with electronic engines to eliminate lever shifts. The driver can take control by putting the shift lever in the “hold” mode.
