Einwechter named OTA chairman

TORONTO — Dan Einwechter, president of Challenger Motor Freight, was named chairman of the Ontario Trucking Association yesterday during the 72nd annual general meeting of the country’s largest provincial trucking association.

Einwechter previously served as vice-chairman and secretary-treasurer. He is also chairman of the Canadian Trucking Alliance, a federation of the seven provincial trucking associations.

Einwechter is the founder and owner of the Challenger Group of Transportation Companies headquartered in Cambridge, Ont.
