Erb excavates bigger digs for rigs
QUINTE WEST, Ont. — Reefer giant Erb Transport is digging its way toward a brand new truck depot north of Hwy. 401 on Glen Miller Road.
The new drop yard site will have capacity for another 120 refrigerated trailers, the company says. A former fuel station at the same location was also purchased.
Erb has outgrown its current Riverside Dr. facility in Trenton, Ont., which handles about 114 trucks and 125 trailers.
The facility is expected to be ready by the end of the summer.
