Get loud for Sick Kids

TORONTO, Ont. – A fundraising team led by representatives of Apps Transport Group, Motive Media, and Trailcon Leasing is calling on Ontario’s trucking industry to help in a campaign to raise $50,000 for Sick Kids Hospital.

Supported by a fully wrapped truck to promote the cause, a fundraising group has been set up at www.support.sickkidsfoundation.com/goto/ontariotransportation. Simply choose Ontario Trucking Industry as the company name to join or donate. Individual teams can also be created under the group.

The initiative is part of a Sept. 29 march and festival for Sick Kids Foundation.

“Sadly, we all know someone affected by childhood illness – some of us have even known children who have required the wonderful care from Sick Kids Hospital. This is a perfect opportunity to give back – Sick Kids wouldn’t be the hospital it is today without fundraising,” the campaign team says in a release. “Let’s represent our industry as the caring and generous people that we are, and join forces to reach our goal.”
