Haldex adds Mexican WD network

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Haldex has created a master warehouse distributor network for its brake system products, and provide customer service and technical support to the Mexican heavy-duty market.

“The network mirrors what we do in the U.S.,” says Dennis Brambila, export sales manager. “We created it to serve the supply and support needs of our fast growing customer base in Mexico.”

Each master warehouse distributor participating in the Haldex network was carefully evaluated and selected based on the following criteria.

1) leadership as a distributor in their market place;
2) extent of experience in the heavy duty industry;
3) product lines currently distributed by their facility;
4) expertise in the brake product category;
5) ability to provide the customer service and support that Haldex expects of their distributors.

“These are traditional distributors that have proven track records consistent with our expectations,” adds Brambila. “The addition of Haldex full line brake system products to these distributors is a ‘win-win’ situation; we’ve got a qualified, professional network in place to sell and support Haldex products, and they have Haldex products to complement their existing product lines.”
