Haldex Midland acquires remanufacturing operation
MARION, N.C. (March 8) — Haldex Midland Services has acquired Stats Remanufacturing Center, an Omaha, Neb.-based remanufacturer of heavy-duty starters and alternators.
Stats Remanufacturing’s operations will be consolidated with Haldex Midland Services’ remanufacturing unit in Marion, N.C., which markets products under the Like-Nu brand.
Haldex Midland Services is the commercial vehicle aftermarket division of Haldex Group. The division’s remanufactured Like-Nu product offerings have been expanded to become the broadest in the North American heavy duty industry and the present acquisition supplements the range of rotary electric components.
