Horton provide sales support in the clutch

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Horton, Inc. has entered into an agreement with ZF Services and ZF Sachs to provide sales support for the SACHS line of driveline clutches to the heavy-duty aftermarket in the U.S. and Canada.

ZF Sachs is a worldwide manufacturer of clutch systems for heavy commercial vehicles. Innovations such as the dual-mass flywheel, TwinXtend self-adjust clutch and ConAct pneumatic clutch actuator are just some of the products ZF Sachs has developed to reduce torsional vibrations, increase clutch life and ease pedal effort.

Due to the growing demand for SACHS 15.5² (293.7 mm) manual-adjust and TwinXtend self-adjust clutches in North America, ZF Services and ZF Sachs have partnered with Horton to provide field sales support to the heavy-duty aftermarket.

"The agreement allows Horton to provide a broader range of products backed by our reliable industry-leading sales and customer support," says Jeff Lindgren, Horton senior vice-president of sales and marketing. "ZF is a very strong brand name worldwide. Customers will benefit from the expertise of both organizations and from purchasing from a single source."
