Hwy 97 reopening uncertain

KELOWNA, B.C. — B.C. officials still don’t know when they can reopen a section of Highway 97 in B.C.

The stretch was closed because of slipping mountain rock face above the highway

The province’s geo-technical engineer, Mike Oliver, told local media that traffic is still not safe from traveling through the area.
