Inaugural HDAW show a huge success
LAS VEGAS — The first-ever Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) held in Las last week drew 1,821 attendees to hear presentations by industry leaders and analysts, participate in one-on-one meetings and view the latest products and services at the trade show.
“We are very pleased by the support from the heavy-duty aftermarket for HDAW,” said Bill Glasgow Sr. of W.T. Glasgow, HDAW show management. “The feedback we are still receiving from participants has been extremely positive. Planning is underway now for the 2007 event, details of which will be announced soon,” he added.
HDAW ’06 attracted 234 exhibitors to its trade show, which featured 425 booths. Exhibiting heavy-duty manufacturers had the opportunity to schedule private one-on-one meetings with 333 distributor attendees representing 188 companies. Distributor attendees also could view the latest products in the new products showcase, which featured 35 items.
The HDAW executive conference included an aftermarket-focused trade show and a comprehensive distributor education program with sessions and panel discussions to provide the latest in industry developments. The event also provided networking opportunities for the distributor and supplier executives in attendance.
