KINGSTON, Ont. — The Ontario Safety League (OSL) is offering a two-day course on the new Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) “Clear Language” regulations here on June 3-4.

Participants will review existing TDG Act and Regulations, meet the new clear language provisions, analyze potential gaps as well as address industry needs — both general and specific.

The course is aimed at transition team managers, operational staff, trainers, lab technicians and anyone else involved in transportation.

The workshop is being presented in conjunction with the Kingston Centennial Transportation Club, “In the interest of shipper-carrier relationship education for our members,” says the local group.

The cost is $500 per participant, which includes classroom materials and lunch daily.

For more information, contact Dylan Short, the OSL’s coordinator of commercial services, at 905-625-0556.
