GREENSBORO, N.C. — Volvo Trucks North America says Scott Kress has been appointed to succeed Bill Dawson as senior vice-president of sales.

For the past 22 years, Kress has held a variety of sales assignments for Mack both at the corporate and company-owned branch levels. Most recently he served as vice-president of business development and fleet sales.

Dawson will assume the responsibility of senior vice-president of customer satisfaction upon the retirement of Harold Wiegel effective July 1, 2002.

Dawson has served as senior vice-president of sales since September 2001. He has been with Volvo for 12 years and brings in excess of 30 years of industry experience to the role of customer satisfaction.
