KRTS to sponsor “Honk for Hunger” food drive

CALEDONIA, Ont. – Kim Richardson Truck Specialists Inc. (KRTS) and Associates have announced they will be sponsoring a weeklong “Honk for Hunger” food drive as part of National Trucking Week Sept. 18-24.

On Sept. 17, KRTS transport trucks will be combing the streets of Caledonia, honking for donations of non-perishable food items. Volunteers from local schools will be collecting the items for the Caledonia & District Food Bank.

KRTS will also be hosting a BBQ for staff, preferred carriers and students Sept. 23 from 1-5 p.m. The event comes with an open invitation to the community and will include KRTS’s Preferred Carriers Truck Show, awards and presentation to the food bank.
