FREDERICTON, N.B. — Repairs to the Westmorland Street Bridge deck in Fredericton will reduce travelling lanes to only two from Jun. 22 through to the end of August.

Work during the major deck rehabilitation will include removing and replacing asphalt and waterproofing, and removing and replacing eight expansion joints.

The contract for the $1.5 million-project was awarded to the Riverview firm Atlantic Underground Services Ltd., which tendered the lowest of four bids.
